The Art of Surrender with Deep

ABOUT THIS EPISODE:

In this episode, I chat transformation with the mystic and creative artist known as Deep.

We talk about the traditions and mystic influences of Sikhism, Islam and Yoga that inspired his own transformation, and what it means to be rooted in the practical and mystical. And we compare the spiritual parallels of skateboarding, meditation and mysticism.

We also talk about his new heart felt book Innocence, a gift to the Seeker who may not yet know this is what they are looking for. We of course, discuss the title of his book, how he defines innocence and how innocence is the essence of who we are.

About the book: Innocence is a moving work filled with poems created to be experienced by the reader with their own emotions and thoughts. The book is heavily based on creating a space for feeling emotions and detachment. Deep is donating 50% of his book profits to Khalsa Aid & Islamic Relief.

ABOUT DEEP:

Deep is a first generation American from Punjabi Ancestry. In Punjabi, the word 'deep' means 'A Beacon of Light'. In English, 'deep' means far below the surface. Mixing his Punjabi heritage and his American upbringing deep brings a new understanding of light to the world. Whether it be as a mystic, yogic, yoga therapist or through his new book Innocence, deep would like to help others look within and merge their light with darkness.
